１９８５年バンコク生まれ。中国系タイ人の父と日本で生まれ育ったドイツ人の母の間に生まれたタイツ人。
バンコクにあるインタナショナルスクール卒業後、２００４年に海を渡って東京にある国際基督教大学（ＩＣＵ）に入学。
大学２年生の時、クリエイティブ系の科目のないＩＣＵに失意し、２００６年に専門東京ビジュアルアーツの放送映画学科の夜間部に入学し、無理やりＷスクールすることを決心。
その時以来、数々のショートムービーを独自で作り続ける。
２００６年に彼は「愛のガソリンスタンド」と言う作品で松竹のショートフィルムコンテスト「Ｃ'ｓ Ｎｅｘｔ」のファイナリスト２０名の一人として選ばれ、作品はブロードバンドテレビのＢＩＧＬＯＢＥでも配信された。
大学と専門学校を卒業後、より映像制作の修業をつむためにアメリカにある映像の大学院に入学することを目指している。
Born in Bangkok in 1985 to a third generation Thai-Chinese father and a Japan born and raised German mother. After graduating international school in Bangkok, he came to Japan to attend the International Christian University in Tokyo.
In his sophomore year, the lack of creative art classes at ICU drove him to the decision to double enroll in a night program in film at Tokyo Visual Arts. Since then, he has been continuously creating and experimenting with the digital video.
With only eight months into his art career, on December 2006, his short film titled "The Power of Love" ( 愛のガソリンスタンド）was selected
as one of the 20 finalists of the "C's Next" short film competition sponsored by Shochiku, and was also streamed on BIGLOBE, Japan's leading broadband television.
Roj plans to pursue an MFA in film (possibly in the US) after graduating from ICU and TVA in 2008.
